Bishop Kicanas from the Diocese of Tucson, shares donated copies of This Bible Talks! with poor little ones in the diocese.
Along with our outreaches to the homeless, Servants of the Father of Mercy has a mission to little ones living in America and on the global mission field. Our children’s “Press & Play” talking Bible, This Bible Talks! is donated to migrant, poor and homeless children. We have currently established missionary partnerships with great relief organizations like Office of the Secretariat of Cultural Diversity in the Church, The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), the Diocese of Tucson, and the Liberator Missionary Boat. There is a great need in these growing tumultuous times to urgently form toddlers and pre readers early on in their developmental years with the Word of God. Won't you help us? Make a strong donation today to our mission and help deliver 50,000 This Bible Talks! to the U.S. and global mission fields in 2011. Join our team and become a Servant of the Father of Mercy lay missioner to the little ones.
"But Jesus said, 'Allow the little children, and don't forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.'" Matthew 19:14
MISSION STATEMENT
Through a collaborative process with Catholic and Protestant church leaders, This Bible Talks! from its inception has been to train little ones 2-6 year of age to grasp the great stories of the Bible in their developmental years. It is our mission to form little ones today to be tomorrow’s strong adults for Christ.

Paul Mitchell, Associate Pastor, Westwood United Methodist, Los Angeles, California

The Experts Agree!
· “What happens to children in the early years has consequences right through the course of their lives…research suggests that intervening in early childhood…is the most effective place to impact on the future development of the child … One of the central conclusions of developmental Science is the importance of development early in life…Quite simply, early growth lays the foundation for all that follows”….The early years of childhood witness some of the most significant growth in the brain’s developing architecture…these processes are substantially completed, or well under way, within the first five years of life.” Dr. Ross A. Thompson – Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Davis, February 28, 2007, in a report given to the House Committee on Education and Labor’s subcommittee on early childhood, elementary & secondary education, US Congress.
· “A child's rapid cognitive development begins from the earliest ages and may continue into young adulthood. Before they can talk, tots are learning how the world works and how they can apply that knowledge.” John J. DiIulio, Jr., Senior Fellow, The Manhattan Institute, Director, The Jeremiah Project
· “Experts across the board agree that the first four years of a child’s life are crucial… The essential groundwork is laid for a child’s future: language acquisition, social skills, and rapid brain development all take place during this time”.
